The finalexamination has ten multiple choice problems so as to provide some relief from the requirementsof complete, professional, and correct presentations of three or four problems found on the mid-term examinations and to make it reasonable (with large sections) to meet the deadline for finalgrade submissions.Our university has conventional Fall and Winter Semesters with the third Semester broken intotwo (Spring and Summer) eight week terms. Semester length classes are taught during theSpring and Summer Terms by having each class meet for two consecutive hours on class days.Spring and Summer Term classes are usually smaller and the department providescorrespondingly fewer teaching assistance
