tailored the IEEE/ACM guidelines for ITprograms to the local needs, following a continuous quality improvement (CQI) plan thataddressed the eight General Criteria and the Program Criteria established by the EngineeringTechnology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of ABET. In October of 2014, the IET wasaccredited by the ETAC Commission of ABET, with the next comprehensive review beingscheduled by 2019.
