students. The curricular efforts consisted ofdeveloping 18 e-learning modules and integrating them into courses in all programs. The co-curricular efforts included developing an entrepreneurially oriented Living Learning Community(LLC) for first-year students, and conducting entrepreneurially focused competitions. A coreteam consisting of the dean and four faculty led these efforts, and other faculty wereprogressively engaged to participate in these efforts. Internal efforts to develop the EM of faculty was not the primary focus from 2011 to 2019,except for training faculty on how to integrate the e-learning modules into courses. . Data is also presented for engineeringstudents who enrolled in Physics 1 but never enrolled in CE 113 or who enrolled in Physics 1prior to enrolling in CE 113 (Population B). From Spring 2016 until Spring 2019, there were 159students in Population B. Figure 2 shows a visual comparison between the percentages ofstudents earning each grade for each of the population groups. The data shows that thepercentage of students in Population A is higher for A and B grades, while the percentage ofstudents in Population B is higher for C, D, F, and W grades. In fact, 0% of Population A earneda grade of D, F, and W. In general, students who were enrolled in CE 113 concurrently or priorto Physics 1 performed better than students who either never enrolled in

is a 2-credit semester-long course that is requiredfor all engineering and computer science students in their first semester; ca. 650-700 students.Social distancing mandates during the COVID-19 pandemic have given impetus towardsdelivering this in-person course using online and hybrid learning modalities. Students work on thesame team of 4-5 throughout the semester on scaffolded weekly activities related to the two PBLmodules and submit weekly peer evaluations via CATME Team Tools [3].The in-person course version (2019 and prior) consisted of two evenly split large lecture sectionsthat met twice weekly. Students were assigned to sit with their teams in the classroom, which hadtables arranged cafeteria-style in a large auditorium. The one

Drills focused oncareer development and were delivered remotely with corresponding quizzes.Fall 2021, University of Arkansas returned to normal class capacities and interactions with amask mandate. GNEG 1111/1111H returned to essentially the same content as Fall 2019 exceptfor Lego Mindstorm EV3 robots replaced Arduinos for the hands-on projects. We also returnedto in-person drills. In Spring 2022, GNEG 1121/1121H returned to themed based hands-onprojects.
