The Wasserstein Distance LikelihoodThe Wasserstein metric, or “Earth Mover’s Distance” (EMD) has been shown to be a robust metric that providesan intuitive notion of distance between probability distributions. Physically it can be interpreted as the minimalamount of “work” required to transform one “pile of dirt” into another, where “work” is defined as an amountof mass moved times the distance itRis moved. Suppose R we have two piles of dirt given by the functions p(x) andq(x) defined on some set X , where X p(x) dx = X q(x) dx > 0, then we could devise any number of strategiesby which we could transform the mass under the curve of p(x) into that of q(x). Let Γ(p, q) denote the space

The partial derivative of the magnetic potential is the morecomplicated step and its result is ∂Um µ0 M 2 Vt Ve 2 = f (x) = 3 C1 − 3C2 − C3 (10

each SO will be assessed that semester. The workshops arewell attended because the Department Chair strongly encourages attendance and the workshopshave seven different faculty address each of the seven SO for 15-minutes followed by 15-minutesfor Q/A.Figure 2 shows a part of the plan which is often described as a “mapping form” since it shows the Proceedings of the 2021 ASEE Gulf-Southwest Annual Conference Baylor University, Waco, TX Copyright 2021, American Society for Engineering Education 5course-level learning objectives and the ABET SO. The syllabus is integral to the SO assessmentplan. It is

In equationsone the K is actually defined a conducting mass in which the entirety of a system is nested. Thisfurther suggest that within the

over the 11 subject matter expert presentations. Students were guided in career and degreediscovery as well as their exploration of: • How is COVID affecting major industries and the media? • How do we separate space fact from fiction? • What are the directives for NASA’s Human Exploration Missions? • How are meteorite samples curated and classified? • What is NASA’s Moon to Mars mission? • How do meteors provide clues to Earth’s past? • What are basic star formations and how are they formed? The internship concluded with student research teams presenting their projects to an audience of UT scientists andengineers, as well as other interns and their guests via a live Zoom webinar and Q&A.
