Systemsthinking is useful in such cases but is rarely taught in engineering courses that do not explicitlyinclude ‘systems’ or ‘systems dynamics’ in the syllabus. This work-in-progress describes anapplication of systems thinking concepts in an undergraduate and a graduate course inAgricultural Waste Management at North Carolina State University. Two specific systemsthinking tools were introduced to help
