sharing their thoughts.3.0 Departmental DEI CommitteeThe CEE Department instituted a DEI Committee in the summer of 2020 to develop a strategicplan for DEI. In addition to faculty and staff who typically comprise departmental committees,graduate and undergraduate students were asked to join the committee so that all communitymembers are represented. Volunteers from each of the community groups were sought to ensurethat committee members were deeply committed to and interested in the cause.
