The engineering and technology accrediting board, ABET, issued informationrelatively early about changes due to COVID-19. ABET determined short-term changes due to COVIDwould not need to be reported (ABET, 2020). In addition to concerns about having in-person classes andlab exercises, another concern expressed was how to communicate online in ways that are as effectiveas in person.
