CybersecurityPBL’s job placement benefits may not be critical for students seeking employment incybersecurity – though job preparation benefits of PBL undoubtedly are – as, at present, there isa critical worldwide need for graduates with cybersecurity skills [20]. This need is only expectedto grow. Between late 2019 and late 2020, over 500,000 cybersecurity positions needed to befilled [21] and greater need is projected in the future.
