a number of engineering and science fields making difficult to be covered in asingle course. However, renewable energy has a great potential for multi-disciplinary projects,both at undergraduate and graduate levels. Such projects can involve electrical, mechanical,civil, and chemical engineering aspects while still being accessible to undergraduate students.Design and development of renewable energy projects allow students to work on projects thatcan be relevant to current leading edge research and technologies. The development, content andstructure of an alternative energy course as part of this effort to embed renewable energy into ourcurriculum are also presented.
