Implementing theStrand Model and Freshman Seminars at The Citadel represents an effort to acknowledgedifferent interests.The entire General Education curriculum begins with a Freshman Seminar and correspondingFreshman Writing course. During the student’s senior year, the General Education curriculumculminates in a Capstone project that should be in the student’s major. Between the FreshmanSeminar and Writing Courses, all six outcomes are assessed. Again in the senior year capstone,all six outcomes are assessed.
