Illinois Foundry for Innovation in Engineering Education and in the Department of Bioengineering with the Revolutionizing Engineering Departments (RED) grant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In developing the intervention activities, the investigative team consideredbest practices from a large body of literature on improving the retention and graduation rates ofunderrepresented minority students in STEM to address the following research question:Research Question.
