Many of the problems attributed to technical education that we are about to describe affect male as well as female students. Actually, the interest of men as well as women in technical/engineering science studies is decreasing, we are facing a global “unattractiveness problem”.8 For years, industrial managers have been increasingly voicing concern about the growing gap between the job specifications and the actual qualifications claimed by the college graduates. Massive deficiencies are especially noticeable among the non-technical, methodical and systematical competencies as well as the soft skills.2
