Results show a seventh-semester retention rateof 63% for students who enrolled in the projects course during their first year, compared to acollege-wide rate of 58%. In addition, 67% of women who took the projects course in their firstyear were retained into their seventh semester, versus less than 58% for females that did not takethe projects course8.
