The electrocoagulation sub-system wasused as a laboratory exercise prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Figure 5 shows the first cohort ofstudents running the experiment. It is expected the two subsystems will be run by two differentlaboratory groups simultaneously in spring 2022. Based on the experiences of the first cohort ofstudents a list of pedagogical goals will be prepared prior to spring 2022. The student learningoutcomes will be assessed at the end of spring 2022 and compared with the pedagogical goals wedeveloped prior to conducting the experiments.Figure 5 First cohort of
