Faculty membersengaged in research activities were also able to propose projects to advance their research efforts.Graduate students were able to work at a high level with an MSD team to leverage their thesisefforts. It was sometimes a challenge to get the attention of faculty members and grad students inthe summer months, as well. Once project proposals were submitted, the faculty coordinatorteam reviewed them for feasibility and modifications were made to fit the sponsor’srequirements and the college’s educational objectives.
