Examples of historically significant musicians, instruments, and compositions arefrequently presented in class. As an end-of-term project, students create a two-minutecomposition using synthesis techniques learned throughout the quarter, and then present theirwork as a concert for interested students, faculty, and staff. Hatfield Hall auditorium is arelatively new world-class facility on the Rose-Hulman campus, and students enjoyed hearingtheir work in this setting.All ECE481 course material
