On a slightly different note, the student leader encountered some limitations in thestudent version of OrCAD (Cadence) and observed that Visio was a more flexible tool forgeneric engineering components.Additional lessons involved project management issues. They both discovered how easy it is tounderestimate the magnitude and/or complexity of a real-world project, the challenges ofcoordinating efforts between multiple parties, and the importance of planning beforehand andmanaging their time throughout.
