opportunities. Engineering needs to constantly attract newtalent, and whether it is robotics, aerospace, or computer engineering, there are programs tosupport the interests of youth considering this field. Engineering camps and programs forelementary and middle school children provide a pathway for students to test out the work andresearch of engineers. This can provide an initial sifting of students who find engineeringcompelling, and those that decide to study other subjects. These supplemental PBL programsintroduce physics, mechanics, drafting, robotics, and computer coding to elementary students.Having witnessed firsthand the diversity these programs attract, there is an enthusiasm forengineering education for active learners that occurs outside

PneuNetactuator requires approximately 15 grams of filament. When a high-quality filament such asNinjaflex 85A from NinjaTek is used, the PneuNet will need $0.69 worth of material to print.Kendre et al., ASEE (2022) 6 of 9 American Society of Engineering Education, April 22-23rd, 2022 – Wentworth Institute of TechnologyB. How does this methodology apply to other engineering courses? We envision extrapolation of our methodology to other engineering fields such as biomedicalengineering, electrical engineering, and aerospace engineering using a remote 3D printing station. For example, the biomedical engineering discipline includes courses on soft bendable continuousrobots to help doctors

from a specialist point of view. Using common products such asautomobiles as our example, we were able to relate to the research found on aerospace design.Lastly in our final meeting, using the information recommended and found, our team receivedpositive feedback on our research. With the guidance of Dr. H, our understanding of theapplications of PLM in the Aviation industry is provided in Section 4.0. An interview was conducted with Dr. T to understand the relationship betweenenvironmental health monitoring and PLM. The expert in air monitoring validated thatGeographical Information Systems (GIS) could be integrated when monitoring air quality. Otherquestions were focused around the different types of environment monitoring techniques
