methods.Modeled after industry practices, this course sequence includes design sprints, projectmanagement, risk assessments and mitigation, formal design reviews by the course instructors,and presentations to industry professionals. Each cross-functional team includes a mix ofelectrical, computer, and mechanical engineers. All teams consist of students of differentethnicities, genders, and ages. Teams are formed with diversity in mind, but also based on eachstudent’s expressed project-type interest.
