this procedure was calculating the sample mean, samplevariation, and sample standard deviation for the processes by using equations 1, 2, and 3respectively. ∑𝑥Equation 1: 𝑥̅ = 𝑛 ∑(𝑥−𝑥)2Equation 2: s2 = 𝑛−1 ∑(𝑥̅−𝑥̅)2Equation 3. s = √ 𝑛Once these numbers were obtained, the groups underwent the process of creating control charts. To do this, the center line and upper and lower control limits were calculated using the equationsbelow:Equation 4. UCL =𝑥̅ + 3σ/√nEquation 5. CL = 𝑥̅Equation 6. LCL = 𝑥̅ - 3σ/√nA control chart was created for the turning process itself and for the overall turning project forboth the Spring 2021 and Fall 2021 semesters. The control charts can be

the circuit of Figure 2, obtained using a Multisim Transient analysis, using default parametersFinally, the students use Multisim to perform a Fourier analysis on the load current (the currentthrough PR2 in Figure 3), which is the same as the source current, in the circuit of Figure 2. Forthe Fourier analysis parameters, a frequency resolution of 60 Hz is specified, and the defaultparameters of 9 for number of harmonics, 0.001 s for stop time, and 6000 Hz for samplingfrequency are used. The result of the Multisim Fourier analysis is shown in Figure 6. 8Proceedings of the 2024 ASEE North Central Section

investigation into fuzzing within our environment. Weaim to incorporate different types of fuzzers that impact PCG elements of the game (i.e., storygeneration, content generation), the interface, and the overall gameplay itself. Our goal is todiscover potential problems within our environment while minimizing the amount of requiredtest cases generated. Another direction for research is in search-based testing, or usingevolutionary computation-based techniques for generating test cases. Last, we intend to continuedeveloping the game itself for use in outreach activities and further research endeavors.AcknowledgementsFinancial support for this project was provided by RISE (www.gvsu.edu/rise), which is fundedby a National Science Foundation S-STEM award

on groupprojects for which they are graded. Based on this small sampling, it appears students areexpected to know and use teamwork skills without much formal or sustained instruction.Textbooks: A quick survey of technical writing textbooks suggests that Technical Writinginstructors cover teamwork as a separate skill, taught in a class session or two and sometimessupported by a group project. Experience also suggests that few Engineering instructors devotesignificant time to discussion of teamwork. In 1997, Burnett’s Technical Communication, 4thed.’s chapter on teamwork provided helpful checklists but a single collaborative activity andassignments that were stand-alone vs integrated into course activities. deployment.Future work. This paper has presented a proof-of-concept version of our application, Walkand Draw. As such, we envision the following efforts as future work. First, we aim to revisethe interface to provide a more user-friendly experience. Second, we plan to incorporate bettermechanisms for saving and sharing student work. Third, we plan to deploy Walk and Drawto our target population of students to ensure that our application satisfies their needs.AcknowledgementsFinancial support for this project was provided by Grand Valley State University. thatimmediate gratification will not be achieved.Assessment efforts at the University Libraries are just ramping up for information literacyworkshops. The approach, in general, is a pre-workshop survey that focuses on the student’sself-evaluation about each learning objective. It is simple in approach and can allow for aflexible number of learning objectives: “Please indicate your level of certainty that you can [INSERT LEARNING OBJECTIVE]. If you aren't sure, just go with your first instinct. There is no right or wrong answer!”A Likert scale allows the student to gauge their pre-workshop knowledge on a scale of 1 to 10with 1 being uncertain and 10 being certain. The post-workshop survey repeats the question(s) about each learning

HASP was then able tounpack all payloads from the launch platform and ship them back to teams. After receiving, teamswould test and report if there was any damage from impact, or shipping. Thankfully, there has notbeen any noticed damage to our team’s payload.5.
