progress presentation halfway through the semester, as studentsinform a committee of three faculty members within the department on parts of the projectcomplete along with plans for the final weeks of the semester, so students can learn if they are onthe right path. This also allows students to receive feedback from more faculty members. Fromthere, students prepare their final presentations and present findings to the committee at the endof the final semester of their college career. The reports have to be formatted in IEEE style andpresentations are given using PowerPoint. A rubric explains the evaluation of the capstoneproject in which points are assigned on a scale of 1-100 for the various categories shown inFigure 1
