stay quiet, depending on how strong his own morals and values are. Again, itis also important to consider his own career and reputation. The third conflicting claim Jacksonmust consider refers to his obligation as an engineer to protect the health of the public. Whenworking as an engineer, or even studying to become an engineer, a common fact that is oftenrepeated refers to how you will be responsible for the safety and general health of the public.Whether it is structural, or machinery based, engineers overlook and measure out a great deal offactors, keeping the safety of the public in mind when working. The last claim is Jackson’s rightto protect and promote his own career. Personally, I can understand this claim as an individualthat will be

of an absorption edge and about 200 eV below& 1000 eV above the edge energy. Analysis of EXFS data yields the amount of the elementunder investigation and structural parameters such as oxidation state, near neighbor bond length, number of near neighbor atoms and disorder. The advantage of this method is minimal samplepreparation and no chemical treatments to samples. The pedagogy encourages mindful reading ofthe latest Synchrotron based research articles with faculty guidance to build a relationship to achemical engineering related education. The pedagogy of using the Synchrotron radiationstudent projects in community college has been found to broaden the prospect and buildconnections to chemical engineering related education in the

websitesaid “A significant problem in learning physics is being able to memorize all the information Ineed to know”. Most of our Community College students have trouble in the understanding of“to memorize” versus “to remember”. “To memorize” can be misinterpreted by communitycollege students to represent a rote learning of physics with a grading rubric adhered to the exactwords and numeric values in a physics textbook example. “To remember” involves awillingness of oneself in judgment and will be strengthened by repeated exercises. The Minds-on together with Hands-on practice is the corner stone of engineering literacy, summarized in a2020 publication by The International Technology and Engineering Educators Association(ITEEA) and archived by
