Due to rising concerns, a team of facultyand staff formed together in the summer of 2023 to identify the problem(s) and work towardplausible solutions that could improve overall culture in the department. This team dedicatedthemselves to the “Engineering a Culture Overall” (ECO) initiative, which is an effort focusedon improving the culture in the department by focusing on accessibility, diversity, equity, andinclusion (ADEI).
