Once the satellite is launched, the SSRC maintains a ground stationcapable of communicating with any and all of the FalconSATs. Cadets carry out spacecraftflight mission objectives by sending commands from the ground station.The FalconSAT program directly involves cadets in all the stages of spacecraft design anddevelopment. The faculty provides the continuity for the multiple year program.
