Course-related activities are designed to optimize astudent’s potential and chances of success within a chosen career path by providing andsupporting opportunities and experiences that enhance their professional identity and careerprospects (Holland, 2010). In this way, Engineering Problem Solving can be seen as a course thathelps students explore, adopt and/or solidify their engineering identity or by contrast, determinethat engineering is not a preferred part of their identity.
