The real surprise was watching andlistening as the student leaders explained their rise from a novel idea to the most reveredstudent group on the Cal Poly campus; not for their ability to sell widgets, but for theirdevelopment of leadership within their organization and others.The founders of the club had created a leadership structure that documented anddelivered: succession planning, mentoring, tutoring and a Long Range Strategic Plan forthe future of the organization.
