prices, and GHG emissions ofpetroleum make it extremely important to develop domestic sustainable sources for liquidtransportation fuels. One such source is cellulosic biomass (fibrous, woody, and generallyinedible portions of plant matters). The total annual capacity of large-scale cellulosic biofuelplants currently in operation or being built in the U.S. is less than 0.5 billion gallons 18, whichlags far behind the expectation. In order to meet the U.S. government’s mandate of 16 billiongallons of cellulosic biofuels annually by 2022 18, many large-scale plants will have to be built. Therefore, the authors make a trial on the inclusion of the cellulosic biofuel topic in the DOEcourse to broaden the knowledge of ISE students in the manufacturing

We look forward to being able tocontribute to this field of research even more when the rest of our data comes in.AppendixAll of the following questions were administered online using LimeSurvey running on asecure internal server.Language competency questions used in team formationThe following questionnaire about language competencies was developed by Sara Scharfin consultation with Dr. Penny Kinnear and several other colleagues. of a Technology Leadership certificate will address the job growth asidentified in the Occupation Report.15 Jobs growth in technology and technology relatedsupervisory/leadership positions is expected to grow about 10% between 2013 and 2022. Withinput from the Industrial Leadership Board, the statewide community college and researchuniversity will design a 15-credit certificate to equip AS / AAS students with necessaryadditional skills and knowledge to qualify for these positions. This certificate will provide accessfor students with an AAS degree to directly enter the workforce with enhanced leadership skillsor to continue towards an AS degree with the option of a subsequent BS. mixed with learning materialappreciated by the industry, which permit to apply concepts to real-life problems. The IETprogram has an industrial advisory board that drives curricular changes according to the needs ofthe region. These needs are not different to those identified by the US Department of Labor;according to its estimation for the years 2012-2022, the computing and mathematical group ofoccupations will have 700,000 open positions6. The employment by specific occupation is alsoencouraging for IET areas such as computer networks and security professions, with incrementsin opening positions of 36.5% and 10-15% in security analysis and network-related specialists6.Over the past two years alone, the number of jobs requiring a Certified

A recent Government of Canadareport on International Education4 advises doubling the number of international students inCanada from 239,131 in 2011 to more than 450,000 by 2022 and creating mechanisms
