project, ”A Characterization of Enolase: A Glycolytic Enzyme in Plasmodium Yoelii”, was chosen to be presented at the International Science and Engineering Fair. Furthering her interest, Savannah designed a dehydration detector, ”Detecting Dehydration through Skin Conductivity”, that won first place in poster competitions of both the Society of Women Engineers and the Drexel Fresh- man IEEE. This inspired her to join IEEE, where she served as the outreach chair for one year followed by being elected President of the Student Branch.
