management.The course consists of a one and one half hour lecture period once per week to the entire class ofstudents on topics necessary to engineering design and engineering management. There are alsoone and one half hour laboratory sections each week given to three separate sections in whichstudents work in teams and at computers in a computer lab on tutorials and team designactivities. In the first semester, the student teams are led through the process of engineeringdesign to create a structured design.
