MSU’s Software Factory ismodeled after University of Helsinki’s laboratory of the same name3, and aims to collaborate anddeliver products to industry partners1. In this module, a historic background about 3D printers is first introduced, and then the impact of 3D printers on third industrial revolution is discussed.
