The implementation strategies include introducing BIM as standalone courses,utilizing cross-discipline BIM courses, adding BIM labs in capstone/project courses, andintegrating BIM into existing courses14.Pavelko and Chasey performed a survey of 59 construction programs that were members of theAssociated Schools of Construction (ASC) and the American Council for ConstructionEducation (ACCE). The purpose of thepresent project is to use the learning and analytical capabilities of IBM Watson NaturalLanguage Classifier to analyze capstone papers submitted by undergraduates in a course onengineering ethics. The capstone papers that we analyzed required students to identify anddiscuss a contemporary engineering technology (e.g., autonomous tractor trailers) and toexplicitly discuss the ethical issues involved. In the two tests described here we assessed whetherWatson-NLC could classify sentences from students’ papers as either related to ethics or notrelated to ethics. . The IDP has similar requirements to a capstone project done in fourthyear, which encapsulates the entirety of the students’ engineering education. It is anticipated thatstudent involvement with the second year IDP will better prepare them for their capstone projectin their fourth year.The IDP was expected to further illustrate the value of teamwork and provide students with theexperience of working with others. The intent of this collaboration was to encourage students toshare ideas and build off each other’s thoughts to create an optimal design. Finally, group workallowed for the students to gain time management experience in setting and meeting deadlines,which must be completed both individually and by the group as a whole.4.0

manufacturing engineering workforce to be more prepared to hit theground running, with less supplementary training required of the employers in the faced-pacedmanufacturing environment.Like the other engineering programs at the institution, there is a strong emphasis on co-opopportunities and working with industry. This includes hands-on projects with industry drivenrequirements, and applied research and development opportunities at both the undergraduate andgraduate levels. The focus of this paper though, is on the development of the hands-onlaboratories of the manufacturing engineering program. canoe competition requires student to work in the evenings and weekends. This means the veteran and active duty students are bringing their families or at least interacting with their families in front of traditional students. This provides additional examples to traditional student on how to balance life with professional responsibilities. These designprojects can cause anxiety and apprehension for students because of the numerous decisions andopen
