It was found that application of project-based learning in Simulation modeling course has a positive impact on learning effectiveness. Thecourse learning outcomes are studied in advance and the term project activity learning outcomesare designed to strongly support the course learning outcomes. The advantages of PjBL approachproposed is that such an experiential education module could provide more practical understandingto students, and ability to connect the theory with the application. This paper addresses the research question, do solutions in SDP incorporate aspects ofauthentic engineering?
