In addition to the technology core of the MXET program, the focus area course work wouldinclude the technical aspects of product design and development linked to the business-orientedcoursework necessary to start and operate a business, and understand and use financial tools such asCash Flow, Income Statements and Profit and Loss Statements. Once a small team of studentscomplete this curriculum, one or more of them should be able to launch a new business in theBrazos Valley. Other initiatives at the College and University levels are emphasizing the importance ofincluding an entrepreneurial mindset into both graduate and undergraduate programs.
