changing orrepealing MACRS. The corporate tax rate has not only been lowered dramatically, it has alsobeen changed to a flat tax rate rather than progressively increasing with taxable income. Inaddition, some of the significant changes in the tax law have been implemented as temporarywith scheduled phase-outs beginning in 5 years.With all of this in mind, the decisions of what we should and will cover are complicated by boththe near and long-term law changes.
