Center in the College of Engineering at Iowa State Uni- versity I work with faculty, undergraduate and graduate students as well as diverse power industries to develop research projects of common interest. The Center started in 1963, and strong collaborations among faculty and industry have been key to our success. Members of the EPRC include Investor Owned Utilities, Municipal Utilities, Rural Electric Cooperatives and an ISO. Prior to joining Iowa State Uni- versity in 2014 I worked for 14 years with Iowa municipal electric, gas and water utilities through the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities (IAMU).
