Experience(REEFE) during my graduate educational journey on “who I am” and “who I want to be” as anaspiring faculty member in the engineering education community. The autoethnographic studyincludes analysis of interviews conducted at the beginning, middle, and end of the professionaldevelopment experience and weekly reflective journals to identify significant interactions thatinfluenced my construction, negotiation, or rejection of professional identities. In addition, thepaper discusses how my identity development through this experience has informed mydissertation direction for degree completion.
