This effort is intended to encourage students to consider a career in STEM andhopefully choose one of the many STEM programs at QCC. The Coding and 3D printingTechnology workshops were conceived to encourage more female participation in Engineering.The department realized that although female students represent 50% of our population, theirrepresentation in the STEM programs were significantly below 50% of our enrollment.
