literature types were coveredequally in the workshop sessions (i.e., the majority of the time was spent on searching for journalarticles), exposure to previously unfamiliar literature types boosted the students’ comfort levelwith being able to find these sources on their own. The marked difference in students’ pre-session responses between Versions 1 and 2 for Monographs/Edited Collections versusBooks/Monographs indicates that simply understanding the definition of a literature type isimportant to these students’ self-efficacy.
