Review Board at Stevens.Informed consent was obtained, and a sports medicine physician screened the health historiesprior to participation. A study proposal was prepared to satisfy all legal entities that the research,involving human subjects, would protect the privacy of the subjects, that it would be safe, andthat it would be worthy of the use of human subjects.Six students participated as part time research assistants. The researchers were initially trainedand subsequently mentored throughout the study by the Principal Investigator and the MedicalAdvisor, both of whom were Biomedical Engineering faculty.
