Schrage, Georgia Institute of Technology Dr. Schrage is a professor in the School of Aerospace Engineering and Director of the U.S. Army Vertical Lift Research Center of Excellence (VLRCOE), a position he has held since 1986. Prior to coming to Georgia Tech in 1984, Dr. Schrage served as an Army aviator, engineer, manager and senior executive servant with the U.S. Army Aviation Systems Command (AVSCOM) for ten years.
