While the average proportion of engineers with disabilities in 2015 was 9% of allengineers, several engineering occupations are operating below or just at the 7% thresholdincluding aerospace engineer (7%), chemical engineer (4%), civil engineer (7%), and industrialengineer (6.1%) meaning that there is great work still needed within these occupational workinggroups from engineering organizations across the US.
