fewweeks before most freshmen started scheduling. During this event, upperclassmen spoke to thefreshmen in attendance about elective options, course rigor, and scheduling layout. In addition,some mentors and mentees attended a pumpkin carving event open to all students at theuniversity. BMES general meetings were also a twice monthly occurrence, when mentors andmentees were able to connect. Study jams were also held by BMES during final exam week,which provided another meeting space for mentors, mentees and all BME students.
