] “This pandemic forced the use of this type of pedagogy andnow that its effectiveness has been proven, many will not go back to traditional methods” [8],[17]. and has led to calls for more diverse and comprehensive evaluation techniques that betterreflect the diverse ways that students learn. Our research begins to fill this gap by exploring anew pedagogic strategy based on frequent unannounced evaluations with the objective ofcontributing to student learning and to build academic integrity in students. The study wasconducted by introducing frequent unannounced evaluations in Civil Engineering andArchitectural courses. reliability, risk assessment, systems modeling, and probabilistic methods with social science approaches. She is a recipient of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and a 2023-2024 Mavis Future Faculty Fellow.
