One of the biggestlessons learned during the initial offerings of the course was the strong student desire for a sitevisit where students could physically see the mitigation measures or resiliency issues that arediscussed. Therefore, more local and project site visits are now incorporated into the course. Aspresented in Table 1, students had an opportunity to work on a variety of projects focused ondeveloping solutions to mitigate climate-induced challenges within the local communities.
