practical andunfamiliar environment. The workshops taught me not only about basic humanitarianengineering principles, but also about the Cambodian culture. Participating in the trip haslet me meet a wide range of people, both peers and professionals, who I would not have thechance to meet usually. I hope to continue applying what I learned on the trip throughout mystudies and professional career.Both these students went on to enrol and complete the EfaHC course in June/July 2015, oneachieving the highest mark in the class. Both are now currently volunteering with the localchapter of EWB-A.
