Inthis course, students work on community development projects and design engineering solutionsto real problems affecting real people. The course focuses on HCD protocols, project scoping,research techniques, brainstorming tools and approaches, technical writing and presenting, andtechnical topics as needed for the design challenge. It is a combination of lecture hours and a lab.At the conclusion of the course, it is expected that students will achieve the following learningoutcomes:1.
