controllers. 2. The Premium kit uses the CM-510 controller with additional capabilities beyond the CM- 5’s as it can also interface with user-created sensors using memory-mapped I/O ports. It also has similar RS-232 and ZigBee communications capabilities. 3. The CM-700 became available in mid 2010 as a bare-bone controller having all the capabilities of the CM-5 and CM-510, and also RS-485 interfaces to the more advanced servo motors from Robotis series RX and EX. . Sherri S. Frizell is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU). Her research interests include human computer interaction, educational technology, and computer science education. She is very involved in activities to promote the academic and career success of women and minorities in computer science and engineering. Dr. Frizell has served as mentor to minority students participating in the Texas A&M University System Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Program and the LSAMP Bridges to the Doctorate Program.
