security education encounters a notable obstacle: the issue of deliveringpractical experience owing to the absence of physical closeness. In the field of IT security education, online laboratory settings and practical exercises are not onlyadvantageous, but also vital[8]. These tools enable students to use theoretical knowledge in practicalsituations, fostering the acquisition of essential skills necessary for their professional advancement andexpertise in the respective subject[9]. Regrettably, the traditional arrangement of computer labs in ITsecurity education is burdened with constraints, notably regarding lack of mobility and the exorbitantexpenses linked to their establishment and upkeep[10].Consequently, it is essential to convert security

well aware of these novel technologies, we need to update our curriculum andcourse design. In this paper, I present some laboratories (labs) that the students conducted as apart of a course project in the ubiquitous computing class. This course is an elective forundergraduate Computer and Information Sciences or Information technology students. Thestudents who take this course are either juniors or seniors. Covid-19 has taught us how remoteteaching is useful to ensure proper education during the time of the pandemic. This project aimsto design different lab modules that the students can conduct without purchasing hardware. Idesigned this course at the time of covid pandemic to ensure student learning and success in aneconomical way. I devised

superfluous hardware. The solution to thiswould be to implement virtual Iot laboratories which could be done at a reduced risk and cost.Using Virtual Machines (VM) also allows flexibility in the delivery of the coursework.Prior Work (Literature Review)J. He et al [8] created a physical IoT lab consisting of Raspberry Pi and Arduino boards and aset of sensors with Zigbee as the wireless communication method. They developed a lab for anEmbedded Systems Analysis and Design course. The lab was a collection of self-containedmodules which presented concepts and hands-on exercises on embedded systems. Thisapproach requires the use of physical hardware, so it can be costly to implement or scale up

control the rover remotely. The GUI program obtains the GPSlocation of the rover and displays the location of the rover on a map. For the control of the rover,ROS (Robot Operating System) was utilized. A Raspberry Pi 3B+ board is used as anintelligence unit of the system. The collected samples can be brought to a laboratory for furtheranalysis. In this paper, the details of the amphibious sampling rover and the educational lessonsvia this capstone project are presented.I. Introduction Mosquitos may lay eggs in shallow waters or wet areas near the shore of lakes, ponds, andrivers [1-3]. Although the exact location of where mosquitoes lay eggs depends on the mosquitospecies or the local environment available to the mosquitos, water is a necessity

includes both instruction set and assembly language. The first half of the semester focuseson the exploration of combinational and sequential logic circuits, which correspond to layers fourand five in Fig. 1. Thereafter, students can design an Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU) circuitcapable of executing fundamental arithmetic and logic operations. This design exercise can aidstudents in grasping how binary opcodes can effectively govern digital circuits. Furthermore, students also design a functional CPU circuit using the essential components provided by thecircuit simulator. This practical laboratory experience contributes to athorough comprehension of the operations associated with basic App. Softwareassembly code

not limited to, embedded technology, autonomoustechnology, edge and end-point technologies. Compared to cybersecurity in general, however, cyber engineering still requires further refinement in its curriculum coverage. The currentcurriculum for the cyber engineering program at our university is centered on cyber physicalsystems (CPS) and their security including device-level security, boot security, and attack-resilienthardware/middleware. As an engineering curriculum, cyber engineering also requires a variety ofhands-on laboratory-based learning as well. To better facilitate hands-on learning in a curricularsetting, we have been developing a 1/5th-scale autonomous vehicle as a framework of cyberphysical systems for a set of cyber engineering

quantum algorithms and explorequantum computing principles using a hands on approach in an easy to implement and useframework.2. IBM Quantum Composer and Simulator:We used the IBM Quantum Composer as a graphical tool for building and visualizing quantumcircuits, and the IBM Quantum Simulator as a platform for simulating quantum circuits on aclassical computer. Students learned how these tools were integrated into laboratory exercisesand how they are used in projects. This enables students to visually construct quantum circuitsand simulate their behavior, thereby solidifying their understanding of quantum mechanics.Image 1 below shows the IBM Qiskit Composer and Simulator. Next, students will work on laboratories created around software in CSE gatekeeping courses, such as the RISC-V assembler and runtime emulator RARS [77]. Having been introduced earlier to Page - 6Inquiry, they are expected to apply the scientific method to advance their own understanding, reflectingand documenting their questions and experiences at every stage of the lab. study found that being able to test the use of the robotsin actual homes versus in a laboratory setting gave useful feedback, both in areas that needimprovement and in what ways people really used the robots to assist with their ADL. For those people with lower-limb mobility issues that use power wheelchairs, one issuefacing that needs to be addressed is charging the wheelchairs’ batteries. This activity sometimesrequires manual dexterity that the disabled person does not have. Work has been done to create awireless power transfer pad that a wheelchair could simply be parked on to charge it, rather thanrequiring the wheelchair to be plugged in. This technology would increase the self-reliance ofpowered wheelchair users and make it easier
