Since most course correspondence is bywriting, students must be able to communicate clearly through writing. In addition, thestudents choose one particular topic and prepare a research paper. Throughout the semester theybecome familiar with research papers in advanced construction management, discussion is madeboth on the topic and the structure of the peer reviewed publications. The term project gives themthe opportunity to make a research in one of those topics and write a technical paper. This way, thecourse helps them to build writing skills especially towards their Master of Science thesis.
