Moreover, by 2020, a federal NSF S-STEM grant was acquired in addition toother industry partnerships that provided additional funding and the ability to ensure no studentshad to work outside of FAMU, which reduced students' financial needs and heavily increasedretention and average GPAs.E. ConclusionThe EESI program has varied over the years with the change of funding offered, which led to theability to meet goal (1) of the program.
